Studio note

A small studio that has held its size on purpose.

Byte System started in 2019 as a six-person pilot in Yeongdong. We held the first cohort in a meeting room above a cafe and three of those participants are now teaching with us. The studio has thirteen people. We chose that number and we are not in a rush to grow it. Knowing every instructor's session is not a marketing line — it's how we run quality control.

We do one thing: masterclass-format training for event and field marketing teams. We do not sell software, we do not run sponsored events, we do not take affiliate revenue, and we do not have a media arm. The catalogue is sixteen working programs. If a topic is not on the list it is on the list of things we have decided not to do well.

Four working principles

The studio runs on these four. Anything that breaks them gets dropped.

Working artefacts, not slide decks

Every masterclass produces something printable, sharable, and reusable. We will not hand you a recording of someone else doing the work.

Peer critique over instructor approval

Most of the value comes from your cohort tearing your draft apart in week three. Our job is to keep that critique honest and structured.

Honest about limits

Each program lists what it does not cover on the first page. If we cannot help you, we will say so during the intake call, not after the wire transfer.

Region-aware, not region-bound

Korea is our base and most case studies sit here. The frameworks travel — about 40% of past cohort members have been from outside KR.

Three milestones

Six years from a meeting room above a cafe to thirteen instructors across four cities.

2019

First cohort in Yeongdong

A six-person pilot for a regional B2B marketing team. Three of those alumni are still teaching with us.

2022

Curriculum split into 16 masterclasses

After three years of running one long program, we broke the curriculum into focused units that could ship independently.

2025

13 instructors across four cities

Cheongju, Seoul, Busan, and Yeongdong. The team is intentionally small; we know each other's sessions.

The thirteen instructors

Each is responsible for the masterclasses they teach. None of them teach more than three.
