Why this masterclass exists

What you actually do during the program.

Five-week intensive on stage choreography, camera blocking, run-of-show, and remote engagement. Includes a one-day in-person workshop in Seoul.

Inclusions

  • Run-of-show template adapted for hybrid pacing
  • Camera blocking exercise with a working camera in the in-person workshop day
  • Remote engagement playbook with five tested interaction patterns
  • Walkthrough of three live hybrid events that worked and three that did not
  • A signed-off plan for one upcoming hybrid event

What you leave with

  • A run-of-show your AV team will accept without rewriting it
  • A remote engagement plan with measurable participation targets
  • A clearer split of responsibilities between MC, AV lead, and remote host

Common questions

The in-person day is strongly recommended but optional. Roughly 80% of past cohorts attended. We provide a recorded substitute exercise for remote-only attendees.

No. We assume you work with an AV vendor or in-house team. The class is about briefing them better.

Hybrid event platforms specifically. We are platform-agnostic and the choices change every year.

From cohort members

"The camera blocking exercise was the moment the whole class clicked. I have a different language with my AV vendor now."

Min-jae P. · Event Producer · public sector communications office · 4.8/5

"Solid. The platform-agnostic stance is the right call but I came hoping for more on the platforms — that is a me-problem, not a class problem."
